FAQs
Does my high school division teammate need to attend the same high school? Yes. You will need to be able to verify that you and your partner attend the same high school.
How many people can I have on my team?
All the teams are composed of just two players to make it fair when endurance becomes a factor in the later rounds.
Can I play in multiple divisions?
No. Divisions will be competing at the same time, so players must choose one.
I'm new to roundnet (Spikeball), is this event for me?
Absolutely! We have divisions for every type of roundnet player, whether you're one of the elite teams in the nation, just starting out in the sport, or anywhere in between.
I'm not sure if my team should play in the intermediate or advanced division. Which should I choose?
Don't worry... a lot of teams are in this same situation. If it's your first tournament, you will probably do better in the intermediate division.
Otherwise, if you feel like your team is likely to lose most games in the advanced division but you're not sure you'll face enough competition in the intermediate division, you're in a tough position (but not a bad position).
One tip: if you can handle taking some losses, playing teams that are better than yours is one of the best ways for your team to improve. You might get knocked out of the bracket sooner than you would've if you played intermediate, but you'll walk away from the tournament inspired to try that crazy backhand hit, fwango serve or jumping tweener. Losing isn't all bad!
I still have questions. What should I do?
